I had the oppurtunity this year to LEAVE Black Rock City and visit the various hot springs that surround the area where Burning Man is held. While Burning Man is happening the BLM requires that no one camp near the hot springs. So, Burning man puts people there to guard against campers. Twice a day, these people change shifts and my friend Gizmo invited me to ride along as she drove the route.
