Reasons for Banning
Incest, castration, suicide, racism, anti-family views, and misogyny-hatred of women.
Also banned under the U.S. Federal Anti-Obscenity Act The Sound and The Fury is one of the most intuitive books that evokes the reader's morals and emotions. Banning books boils down to the maturity of society and the willingness and knowledge to forsake the overtone of violence and immoral acts to take hold in our minds.
